Principal Dentist
Steve Ross graduated from Leeds in 2001 and then worked in Bradford until he became principal dentist at Springfield Dental Clinic in 2007. This gave him the opportunity to undertake many complex treatment plans and this experience stands him in good stead to this day.
He has played an active role in postgraduate education undertaking his MFGDP (UK) RCS Eng examination, and since being a Foundation Training Dentist trainer. He has recently completed his Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Education and is also Postgraduate Tutor at the Yorkshire and Humber Deanery. Added to this he is currently treasurer of Faculty of General Dental Practitioners of Yorkshire Division.
His areas of interest within dentistry are restorative dentistry from endodontics to restoration of dental implants which is increasingly an area in which we work. Steve always tries to offer minimally invasive options first, and simple cosmetic procedures such as tooth whitening and cosmetic bonding form a large part of his practice, and he works with partners to deliver implants and orthodontics (fixed or invisible braces).
Outside work he used to play football, golf, skiing and pretty much any sport he could, nowadays with three little boys to occupy his time he is adjusting to life which will increasingly become that of a taxi driver.
